I wear my cap on a midsummer party and someone in the crowd suddenly recommends me to start to dance the Lindy Hop. I gently brush it off and walk away. But after two more random people have suggested exacly the same thing I become puzzled. What is Lindy Hop? Is it something to concider? I can't stop thinking about it on my way home.

After a few days I decide to visit Chicago Swing Dance Studio in Stockholm and participate in a beginner's course. I quickly become hooked. The years go by and I become a regular social dancer. The fact of the matter is that I really enjoy to be part of the dance scene. It has a very friendly atmosphere and it is easy to talk to people.

It's almost like the cap has a will of its own. In a sense wearing it helped me to become a Lindy Hopper. Sometimes it's good not to plan everything and just go with the flow.
